COLLECTION DAER

The Darcy Gonçalves Teixeira Library houses a collection specialized in Road Engineering, including institutional publications and studies on the construction of highways and bridges, including articles and books.

Initially focused on engineering works, the library was created in 1939 by engineer Alfredo M. Waldeck. The site was a reference for servers and students in conducting research, as well as training and professional updating, and was closed in 2010.

The library was reopened on May 7, 2015, aligned with the Professional Education Program of the department and the dissemination of the theoretical and practical production of the technicians of the municipality, counting on a diversified collection of works of engineering, Architecture, public administration, computer science, among others.
